Music educator Jessica Sammis enjoys a thriving career as a strings teacher and curriculum creator.  Jessica holds degrees in cello performance from Northwestern University and the Eastman School of Music, and is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in music education at George Mason University.  Jessica was a cellist in the U.S. Army Strings, assistant principal cello in the Maryland Symphony Orchestra, and a frequent substitute in the National Symphony Orchestra.  She is also passionate about playing and teaching the ukulele, and created the Little Ukes® ukulele curriculum for young children.  Jessica is a proud member of Sound Impact, a collective dedicated to igniting change through music.
